The quintessential Rolex classic: the Rolex GMT-Master II. In this case, we have reference 16710. This makes the model one of the first references that can be worn in everyday life without a second thought. The reason lies in the movement: here we already have a quickset date function, sapphire crystal, and accordingly a high level of water resistance.
Case
There are a few light signs of wear, fine swirls, and surface scratches on the lugs. Overall, however, it is fair to say that the watch is in excellent condition for its age.
Dial
The dial shows no discoloration whatsoever and is flawless. Here we already have Super-LumiNova, which still gives a strong afterglow. The hands, too, are only very lightly oxidized.
Set
The watch comes as a complete set together with box and papers. It is a Viennese delivery from the house of Schullin, dating from the year 2000. Nothing is left to be desired here: also included are the original calendar from 2000–2001, the translation, and both booklets.
