A neo-vintage classic: the Rolex Explorer II, reference 16570, is an excellent entry point into the world of vintage Rolex models. In this case, we have the white dial — known as the "Polar." It gives the watch an unmistakable contrast and perfect legibility of the hands and indices.
Case
The case has been reworked by us. What you see here is a beautifully preserved Oyster case, and the bracelet shows only slight stretch. The iconic detail here is certainly the radially brushed bezel. It slopes gently downward, which lets the watch sit very flat on the wrist. Thanks to the Oyster case, we also have 100 m of water resistance — making this a vintage watch ready for everyday wear.
Dial
In the white configuration, the hands and indices are black. The "Swiss Made" marking tells us at a glance that this piece already carries Super-LumiNova. So even today, legibility in the dark remains perfect.
