🇦🇹 Die Rolex Day-Date Referenz 18239 „Tridor“ ist ein außergewöhnliches Beispiel für die Innovationsfreude von Rolex in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren. Diese Uhr kombiniert drei Goldarten – Gelb-, Weiß- und Roségold – in einem Design, das sowohl auffällig als auch elegant ist.

Gehäuse und Materialien

Das markante Merkmal dieser Uhr ist das „Tridor“-President-Armband, dessen Mittelglieder aus abwechselnden Streifen von Weiß-, Rosé- und Gelbgold bestehen. Die Uhr ist unpoliert, dies sieht man direkt an der Dicke der Bandanstößen sowie der perfekten Riffelung der Lünette. 

Zifferblatt und Uhrwerk

Wie erwähnt besteht das Zifferblatt aus Aventurin. Dieser Stein hat eine unglaubliche Tiefe und erinnert oft an einen Sternenhimmel. Natürlich ist dieses Original von Rolex ausgeliefert und kein Nachbau! Anstelle der Stundenindizes befinden sich kleine Brillanten. Ein Großer Unterschied zu Standard Diamant-Zifferblätter von Rolex ist die Fassung. Diese ist in diesem Fall rund und nicht eckig. Der Zeigersatz hat mittig einen schwarzen Lackstreifen und setzt sich ebenfalls von Standardausführungen ab. 

Angetrieben wird die Uhr vom Kaliber 3155, einem automatischen Uhrwerk mit doppelter Schnellverstellung für Tag und Datum (Double Quickset).

Case and Materials

The standout feature is the “Tridor” President bracelet, with center links alternating between white, rose, and yellow gold. The watch is unpolished – evident from the thickness of the lugs and the crisp fluting on the bezel.

Dial and Movement

The Aventurine dial dazzles with a depth that resembles a star-filled night sky. This is, of course, an original Rolex dial – not a service replacement or reproduction. The hour markers are set with small brilliant-cut diamonds. Unlike standard Rolex diamond dials, these are mounted in round instead of square settings. The hands also stand out with a black lacquer strip running through the middle – a subtle but striking detail.

Inside ticks Rolex’s Caliber 3155, an automatic movement featuring a double quickset for both the day and date.
