The Ref. 16200 is the quintessence of the Datejust collection. A fully brushed stainless-steel bracelet, a solid movement, 100 metres of water resistance and a date display for the pragmatist. In this case, we have a complete set from 2005, featuring a salmon-coloured dial.
Dial
Unlike the other dials, the Roman numeral dial does not feature any luminous material, which is why the hands are also without luminous material. There is no discolouration in the lacquer; only the white-gold indices have developed a slight patina over the years, highlighting their originality.
Case
As mentioned above, the watch offers 100 metres of water resistance, meaning it can easily be worn while showering or swimming. Despite its robust construction, the case remains very slim, and at 36 mm in diameter, it offers a very appealing mid-sized proportion.
Movement
This model is equipped with Rolex Calibre 3135, a movement renowned not only for its robustness but also for the virtually endless availability of spare parts. This means that the next service in 5–7 years should not come as a major expense.
Set
The watch comes with its original box and original guarantee certificate. In this case, it was originally sold in Barcelona in 2005.
