Here we have a unique piece. Breitling is widely known for its Navitimer, SuperOcean, and Chronomat models—big, bold watches often seen on pop stars and deeply embedded in popular culture. However, as with many stories, there is another side. Breitling was the brand that introduced the second pusher to the beloved chronograph movement. This now-iconic two-pusher setup, allowing for stopping and resetting the stopwatch, was a design innovation that came years later. Earlier versions featured only one pusher, which meant you couldn’t restart the stopwatch after stopping it.

Breitling's roots are in innovation, and in the past, their watches exuded a different charm. They were classier, more intricate, and considered the best in their genre.

In the 1990s, Breitling decided to celebrate this era of their history. Interestingly, this commemoration happened quietly, resulting in a limited edition of just 30 pieces worldwide. This watch features the Valjoux 88 movement, with a case crafted in white and yellow gold. In addition to the iconic hand-wound chronograph, it boasts an annual calendar with a pointer date. The dial is flawless, and the case shows only minor signs of wear.
